The discrimination of neurodivergent people is so weird because it’s so covert but at the end of the day it’s just that. Once I realized that so many of the struggling people in our societies like homeless, in badly paid jobs/unemployed, addicted etc have a much higher percentage of being neurodivergent, especially undiagnosed, i couldn’t unsee the discrimination everywhere, embedded in social norms and how we organize everything.

Omg I do this but it’s just I’m usually in my head most of the time and when people speak it’s like I zone out and (I don’t want to sound crazy) I hear little thoughts speak and I get confused if it’s them speaking or the voice I hear.

I'm not trying to be rude but in most cases these are social cues to you that what you've said isn't "normal conversation". It's not your fault of course but shouldn't you react by trying to understand what happened rather than assume they're behaving irrationally and you've done nothing wrong?
