🥰 I've held hard boundaries with people who tried to get access to my kids in ways that were not the beat for my kids. I got some big Sh!t from people but in the end I have no regrets. The ppl who were worth anything made adjustments to meet us, the others are gone and good riddance.

I feel this way about homeschooling our complexly disabled son. So many have big feelings about our choice. We made it back when he was 4. I occasionally question that choice but Im seeing more and more why exactly we made that choice. My gut wasnt wrong.

I cut off my parents because my kids begged me to. I chose separation from my husband by myself and it turns out my kids are profoundly grateful that he’s gone. 😭
