@katislosingit: These are my arms after losing 180 lbs. I saw a great post from @Emma | weight loss & life about the pressure to have tiny arms after major weight loss — and it really hit home. Loose skin is part of massive weight loss, but having Lipedema in my arms makes it even tougher and more noticeable. And sometimes, if I’m being real, it can be hard to look at. But these arms are also part of the body that carried me through losing 180 lbs. And I’m not going to hide them. I’m meeting with Dr. Wright at @Lipedema Surgical Solutions soon to talk about my Lipedema, my arms, my legs, and what options I may have moving forward. I’m nervous, excited, and honestly just ready to learn what’s possible. I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only person who has lost a significant amount of weight and thought, “Okay… now what do I do with all of this skin?” I still have a ways to go but here we are now ❤️ So here’s to showing the part of weight loss that doesn’t always make the before-and-after photos. #weightlossjouney #180lbsdown #looseskin #lipedema
