My 40 year old manager at forever 21 would purposely target the college student employees by scheduling us when we had classes and threatening to fire us if we didn’t come in and would say things like “you think you’re special cause you’re in college but real life doesn’t care about that” and would mock and laugh in peoples faces over them being stressed about missing classes THEY PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO TAKE when this is a minimum wage job? I quit when she did it to me cause it’s no one’s fault but yours that you’re bitter about your life choices and being jealous enough to sabotage literal teenagers educations will never change that. She got fired a few months later bc so many people were quitting and complaining so corporate finally sent someone to investigate:/
