@abc7chicago: A goose was the surprise victor after a bizarre but epic scuffle with a sheep on a farm outside Auckland, New Zealand, in early August. Video shot by the animals’ owner, Gary Stone, shows the sheep ramming the goose with his head while the goose pecked at the sheep. The sheep then loses its footing and rolls onto the ground, where it found itself stuck upside down as the goose continued to dig its bill into the sheep’s woolly coat. Stone told Storyful that his pet sheep and geese “play fight” on his farm in Oratia “every couple of months,” but said he was left “surprised and amused” on this occasion because “the sheep ‘wins’ 99 percent of the time.” Stone said that, once he stopped filming, he stepped in and separated the pair “and rolled Richard the sheep back to his feet.” Richard “was fine” but “demanded some sheep pellets and a pat on the head,” Stone said. “No sheep or geese were harmed in the filming of this video!” he added.
