I feel it's like a power trip. She knows he has to try to stay in character, that he has to play his part or he might lose his job. So she feels she can do all sorts of inappropriate things and get away with it.

Well said - I think limerence is at play ….. I’ve experienced it - thankfully I could see it for what ot was and eventually it faded … it’s not a nice feeling to be so infatuated.

I agree with you on all points. Let people enjoy things etc. she very much is being inappropriate and as an auDHD queen I’m getting frustrated that people are alluding that may be the reason…pft. BUT As a former military partner my theory is her being married to marine has something to do with it as well…their job always come first no matter what and I think for her doing Disney and getting that hit of dopamine that a childhood comfort character creates is how she creates her moments of being special and centre of someone’s attention in a way that isn’t classed as emotionally cheating etc (in her mind). I’ve witnessed people do weird things in those relationship set ups for sure…either way, she needs to stop and my heart goes out to the actors.

Oh Mickie, there’s lots of reasons why I adore you but this is such a great take, you’ve explained this in such a fab way. Not a Disney fan myself but each to their own. If it brings you joy and it’s not hurting anyone crack on! Love that for you. Stalking is such a scary thing to experience.

I wouldn’t say I’m a Disney adult in the obsessive term but I have always loved Disney because it reminds me of my childhood, my favourite is beauty and the beast, I had a dog named Belle. I’ve been to Florida as a child and an adult but I don’t need to have the latest Disney thing, I’d prefer to save up for a holiday to New York than Disney but the thing about this girl is it obviously brings her comfort and that’s fine, until it’s not. The Peter Pan character is at work, from the videos I’ve seen he doesn’t look too pleased with her always turning up, nobody goes to work to feel uncomfortable or at risk or anxious because of outside people coming in, if that makes sense! X

I understand why you're using MCR but we should understand is every album the members of the band take on personas. so when you see people calling Gerard poison party that's because the character for that album was named Poison party. Etc yes the young fans are crazy I was crazy when I was a kid too. I understand what you're saying but you are missing a key point with the band every album is a concept and they do a theatrical play to go with it they play the characters and act it out for the entire tour. that is why the current tour is so dark because it's a commentary on fascism

I grew up with Disney films, we were too poor to ever dream about Disneyland. Now I’m grown up and have my own children, I am a Disney adult and we go every year because we can and we all love it. I get to relive the childhood I missed out on, it’s my happy place.

I'm not a Disney adult as such, but me and my GF (both 37 no kids) went to Florida 7yrs on the run. Mainly to Universal Studios and IOA, Ive only done 3 Disney Parks in all that time. BUT, its exactly to just feel care free, feeling the nostalgia of all our childhood movies and having an active holiday rather than sitting around a pool for 2 weeks (also Halloween Horror Nights is epic). I work with someone who got married at Disney FL, and Mickey married them 😂 she also has no kids. I'm not that Disney 😂 Defo for the adults, but the stalking part is too far though!!!!

From what I understand there are different types of stalking. I think you may have been targeted by a resentful stalker - really horrible. She sounds like an intimacy seeker stalker and they're often lonely people. I think it's treatable. Hope she gets help.

I never got to go to Disney until I was 17. If I had the money I would 100% be a Disney adult. 🤣 It's all about escaping into something familiar and comforting.

There are adults who love Disney and then there are "Disney Adults" and in my experience, they are not very adult. I live in southern California so I am surrounded by them. They also might have some unresolved issues but then, I'm not a doctor. 😂😏
