You are absolutely correct. Even working around 70 hours a week, I don’t make $2,500 a week. As a driver, I’m making around $1,500 to $1,800 a week. 😅😅 reality .

You are 100% right. I’ve been following your content for the last couple of months, and before that, I used to think differently. I used to think, “I don’t care if it takes me 70 hours to make $2,500 a week, as long as I’m making $2,500.” Then I got the job I have now, and I realized that what used to take me five days, I can now make in four. A big part of that is working for a company with really good benefits. I also remember that at my previous job, holidays were the worst because I would actually make less money. Now, at my current company, when there’s a holiday, I actually make more. Following your content has made me realize how important good benefits really are for truck drivers. Better benefits and better working conditions give you more time for yourself, more time with your family, and more time with the people you care about. At the end of the day, it’s definitely better to make $2,500 in 50 hours than to make the same $2,500 in 70 hours. Making good money is important, but making good money while working fewer hours and having more time for your life is even better.

$32 for Hub Group and working almost 70 hours to make $2500 a week plus deduction for, medical insurance, 401k for retirement and Taxes probably takes home $1300…At Ralph’s $32.50 =$1300 straight time plus $470 on ten hours over time =$1770 plus adding Teamsters pension $ 8 per hour totaling 40 hours =$320 =$2090 and last FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE on 50 hours and spending more time with our family, Ralph’s has a great job and better paying packages and a Contract 👍👍👍 CHALÈ WITH HUB GROUP 👎👎👎

Yeah that’s a lie . When i first got my license I worked for central transport and I would pick up from their hub Rialto and i would talk to them they would barely get $1100 they have different stuff to do but they all pay the same range . And that’s from a driver pulling containers and also their flat beds.

I remember my old boss told me if I wanted to make more money to come in on Saturdays when I asked for a raise. Told him that’s not making more money. That’s just working more.

offloading with an electric power jack at $44 an hr is easy money. Mainly just walking around. It beats unloading 10,000 cases and definitely beats sitting in a hot truck waiting for reciever to unload.

I remember I was at Walgreens I had to deliver to Walgreens in Hollywood with a 20 foot trailer there was no electric jack had to use the regular one pulling out a heavy ass water pallet hell nah it’s a pain
