@bloompatrick: Meeting with @Alhan Islam Friday at the @abujaglobalshapers ‘meet the leader’ here in Abuja was such a pleasure. I learnt a lot from her and it wasn’t just about her poetry, it was about her journey and the process towards becoming the star that she is today. From learning to say “no” even when it’s a ‘big shot’ to never see failure as a set back, to focus a large chunk of attention to your ART, to learning how to position yourself for global stages. Of course I had to ask her about her @davido collaboration!😅 A 10/10 intro btw. #poet #globalshapers
