In all my years I've come to understand that it doesn't matter if it's illegal if a cop does it. They'll be protected and shielded from anything unless you have $$$ to file a lawsuit. I've had cops allow a burglary and theft to take place in my own garage and the cops aided it. I was basically told, "You can file a lawsuit." 🤬
