Thomas Aquinas "motion" claim. Because without a first cause, no subsequent causes can exist to produce an effect. An analogy would be dominoes falling; if someone doesn’t push the first domino, all of the dominoes can’t fall so there has to be the first unmoved mover which is God

The Argument from Motion (Change) — Things in the world are changing, and whatever changes is changed by something else. This leads to a First Mover, which Aquinas identifies as God.
The Argument from Efficient Cause — Everything that happens has a cause. There cannot be an infinite chain of causes, so there must be a First Cause, which is God.
The Argument from Contingency — Things in the world can exist or not exist. If everything were contingent, there could have been a time when nothing existed. Therefore, there must be a necessary being that explains why anything exists—God.
The Argument from Degrees — Things have different degrees of qualities such as goodness, truth, and nobility. Aquinas argues that these degrees point toward a maximum or perfect standard, which he identifies as God.
