It is in your best interest to come to the negotiating table with America. No one wants to see Iranian civilians (or any civilians) getting crushed due to economic constraints. It is your best bet, that instead of holding on and “resisting” til your civilians die of hunger and have no choice but to riot against you (and whatever number of meaningless deaths this route will have), to instead come to the negotiating table, acknowledge that it is in the best interests of both parties to come up with a negotiated settlement and acknowledge that Trump gave you a fair deal with the MoU and that there was no trickery and that it was a good-faith offer made, given the circumstances and respected the dignity of both sides (and having followed that, would lead to a prosperous, socialized, Iran). You complain about “unfair” slander from the West. It is time to hold yourself up to the same standards and acknowledge that Trump DID in fact give you a fair deal that was just looking to get you to cooperate (and incentivized you fairly to do so). Also, it is important to be transparent and honest about intrinsic biases Iran has shown that it has towards the United States (sure, lots of history there), and that it results in Iran being excessively suspicious or “bad-assuming” and if there’s going to be a future where Iran cooperates and is friendly and social with everyone, that it can’t have this “presumption of negative intent” towards America or other Western nations (or even its Arab neighbours) and will instead be willing to give them a genuine chance. The people who you had a problem with 50-70 years ago aren’t around or in power anymore, it is time Iran updates its foreign policy and approach.
