I tried getting the bed and came across an issue with the supplier. They said they don’t like to deal with cubby specifically bc it’s so expensive. They don’t even have it in stock.

Mine got approved thru medicaid in 2 weeks.By week 3 his bef was delivered. I found my own med supply company and had them get it for me.

with Medicaid its kinda more easy. I was told state that your educated on that the bed is only for sleeping and napping. I get my baby bed in a month...

my son is gtube fed and briviac fed he literally is going to rip his lines out if he gets out letters were written pictures Dr's requested and were submitted still got denied

Have you gotten past the second approval stage the cubby people came to the house and measured and I thought oh great it’s approved because I got an approval letter and I guess there’s a second approval that needs to happen 😳 and the insurance companies only review medical equipment once a month now I’m playing a waiting game again 🤦♀️

Kaisser doesn’t provide that, wagon and harness. Medical says has to go thru his priority insurance first and medical will cover the rest. But after contacting Kaiser they said they don’t have that equipment.

If you have IEHP and a diagnosis you can have a Case Specialist. My son’s case specialist calls every two weeks when we need referrals and calls once a month to check on us to make sure my son has everything he needs. His Case Specialist also let me know how to get it approved because IEHP does approve Cubby Beds. Many insurances approve cubby beds with referrals and letter is medical necessity- thorough letters.

cubby beds are dangerous Dr won't prescribe.theres been fatalities linked to cubby beds.get saftey beds theres ones autism approved..cubby beds aren't approved

yess that's correct, my occupational therapist did the letter for my son and we got approved now we just have to wait for them to bring it.. do not take it to your doctor's they have 0 idea how to do it.
