Anybody who says they don’t use AI for their music this day and claims they’re a producer, they are absolutely 100% lying to your fuckin face. Every producer and I mean every single fuckin producer uses AI to a certain extent. Many of the tools that are built into just about everyone’s workflow use some level of AI.

I wrote my lyrics but used ai to preform the song because I can’t sing and can only play guitar and drums but don’t currently have any instruments or recording equipment

I guess it depends on how you use the ai to write the lyrics in my case I ask for other words to use I ask my stanzas so I dont have to actually count them meaning I write the lyrics and ask ai what is the syllables count so I can determine what word to cut or add if u saying some one who typed write a song about depression and ai gave them lyrics yeh that not the same as asking ai for direction on your lyrics . No different to ask people your working the song with for opinion or wording ect. Also most people forget that melody can be hummed, whistled , tapped ect every one keeps grouping all ai creators in one box.

Thanks man, good take. I just like making a few songs about crap going on in my life. Not trying to be somebody or step on anybody’s toes. It is very therapeutic. I definitely noticed that. But I only noticed it when I’m spending time making it just right for me not just a one shot prompt.

I’m a musician. I play guitar, drums and bass. I’ve been in bands off and on since the 90s. I have written and recorded music, played live and enjoy making music. That being said I have used Suno to refine my own music into something that sounds good. I haven’t been in a band in a decade and I don’t want to release that music. I just want to hear the things I write for my own enjoyment. So.

what do you mean dont say you wrote that song. . . like the lyrics the best the melody the. . . what, what do you mean bc I write all my lyrics 100% and the melodies bc lets be honest anyone who knows music knows the melody is found in the words. . . bc before guitars and paints or others instruments there was only words and to make a song sound different than others bc said instruments they found that different cadence and syllable structure formed different melodies so what do you dont say i wrote this song when I did bc its no different then walking into a studio with a producer who already has pre made beats and I record my song over that beat. . . its my song if I do that, its ok to do that but if I upload my lyrics and melody into suno and have it generate a beat with ai vocals now its not mine. . . wtf dude stop it you make no sense

I had a song that me and some friends did 14 years ago and the only copy I ever had was a crappy YouTube video. I took that video and ran it through and remastered it and FINALLY after 14 years of telling my fans they’d never get a good quality studio version I made it happen for them and they absolutely LOVE it!

I'm honest i write my lyrics I've been writing for over 20 years half the lyrics are a decade old i could never gwt the mixing mastering down i even bought equipment tried myself then even offered to let someone use my equipment to teach me and would let them make Money using my studio equipment just to teach me I'd learn just watching but everyone i found knew less than me and i was just going off ear and common sense i didn't know what i was doing but i tried suno still doesn't have the capture your voice part down but it's cool as a tool the millions of prompt music is good for self listening but it doesn't make good songs

I don’t like ai . BUT if your voice is screwed up and ai helps smooth it out(most common thing I’ve heard as the reason don’t remember where I heard that or who) then I’ll let it be. I personally won’t listen to much ai songs . Now if it’s your voice, ai music …ok better than ai voice .i try not to judge

thank you so much! for a positive take. I have been a real musician for 20 years now. I have a full studio and real gear and skills to make real songs. we've released many albums commercialally. that doesn't negate the fact that AI music has a place. it is not necessarily pure evil like it is made out to be. I really think it is getting more people into producing music and then when they realize they've hit the ceiling, which is admittedly fairly low in an entirely AI environment it leads them to progressing beyond that, which I believe is beneficial for everybody. personally, I have found that the more you feed in personal information I.e your own lyrics, your own melodies and riffs you're output is drastically improved. that being said, misrepresentation is bad and I am too embarrassed to ever release anything AI because of the stigma attached. although I have several pure ai songs that are very real and emotional and can bring a tear to my eye.

I take pride in saying I write my own lyrics. growing up I never thought my words were nothing but words. for me it's just a hobby, I like writing and structuring. Had an artist took notice of one of mine and asked to cover it, of course I said yes, and as a gift had it made on vinyl with both our versions. Now I have a good friend from it. unfortunately you hear about the negative most and ppl who take advantage ruin it for everyone else
