Because the ex general manager Ms. Weninger destroyed the theater. She purposely always had it understaffed , long lines and filthy and super dirty restroom. Cinemark corporate had a bonus at that time who ever saves the most expenses. She cut payroll in half. didn't care all the customer complaints about lines and cleaning Ness. as long as she got that bonus which she did. attendance went from 800k average yearly to a super slow 400k a year which is a level 2 theater considered the slowest performing and low attendance. when I worked there I reported everything she was doing , and she retaliated and fired me. I was one of her assistant managers. that was not scared to speak up

Yeah thats because Hollywood hasnt been upgraded since the early 2000s. The video quality sucks, the chairs are horrible, and the sound quality is bad. Ownership should be ashamed, they dont even care which sucks because it used to be a really good theater

oh it does get busy every time a big movie premiers like the odyssey and Spiderman came out that place was PACKED!! every single day. and I like how they added spanish dub in the morning allows me to enjoy movies with my parents

That's the one I go to all the time. I love that they have a lot of screens. Plus to me the speakers sound the best here. Don't understand the hate for it.

last time I went, I kept insisting this old man behind me to practice theater etiquette. im convinced this is why im usually at amc and not at cinemark. amc is usually the younger crowd, but I skip pay day weekend cuz those are the days you're more likely to get rude ppl on their phones and/or talking out loud

That’s because the other theaters have the recliner seats for the same price. Movies 6 is always empty as well.

Yeah I’d go Saturday morning at bistro and the majority of the time is empty with extremely few people. I prefer it that way.
