Quran chapter 2 speaks precisely about this. How the followers of Moses instead of following God's commandments decide to engage in arguments - similar to what's been described in the video. the lessons we could draw from the parable are many. among them are obedience, morality and justice. what's more interesting for me is 3000 years had passed since that event, yet the mindset of Moses's followers still remains.

there is definitely a large segment of christians that don’t believe in self determination like this guy suggests. there is a huge evangelical base of christians who yearn for israel to conquer the middle east to fulfill biblical prophecy.

I have a problem with characterizing the situation as being hopeful for ‘peace’ as if there are two parties fighting. There’s only one party fighting. There’s only one aggressor trying to conquer more territory. The argument should not revolve around hoping they come to an agreement. It should revolve around trying to stop the aggressor
