thank you for saying the truth, because I'm a Filipino living 25 years already in Austria but I just adapted in this very cold culture but sometimes I miss the warmth of my people but I choose to stay here so I just sucked it up 😊

western culture is individualistic, asian more like collective society that's why you get different vibes from people

It is how we as human beings respond towards the weather, I think. The resources we need to gather and store determine our survival. That includes gas, heat, feedstocks and etc. The lack of sun also contributes to the mood and general well being. The layers of clothing too. It is always much easier to live in Asia (especially in the tropics). The stress of handling the weather to survive is much less hence they can afford to be more open towards one another.

I'm Viennese & I totally agree. I've always felt lonely here. Feels like more of a surface level thing, not a real connection thing. 😔

Feel yaa👌. Nicely sad, same observations and feelings I got after visiting Asia. Why everything is so empty, boring, where are people? Empty streets! So cold vibe🤔. Where are colors, festivals, music, diversity, honking💞🥰

Very interesting observations💗 in other countries people talk a lotta bs and are very friendly but it’s exactly the same thing of not wanting to stand out or be actually personable
