I know exactly what that feels like! Kindness and love is my nature. But everytime l got close to anyone, they either lied or soon treated me different than when we first met. I usually was the one that ended up being hurt over and over. I had to learn to be very careful with people and not open up my heart to failure. Because of my past, l tend to be a lot more distant towards people in general. I learned to be kind but not let my heart be open to destruction. Not worth my effort nor my time. I just stay close with thoes l know who love me and thoes l know will be the same everytime l talk with or get together with. Hard lession learned and l stay much happier for doing so. 🙂
