@purascans: We scanned a body wash found in millions of bathrooms — Suave Essentials — and then scanned a clean one beside it. The two labels weren't close. The drugstore bottle runs on sodium laureth sulfate, synthetic "fragrance," and a set of artificial dyes: Blue 1, Yellow 5, and Red 33 — an EU-restricted colorant. None of those dyes make you any cleaner. They're there to tint the soap. Then there's the word "fragrance." On a label, that one word can legally stand in for dozens of undisclosed chemicals — and no brand has to tell you which ones. It's a loophole, and it's exactly where the stuff you can't see hides. The clean one — Dr. Bronner's — is saponified coconut and olive oils, scented with real essential oils, no dyes, no synthetic detergents. Same job. Different label. Scanned with the Pura App
