@heathdogtrainer: Teaching “drop”? A few things to remember when you practise 🐶 🧸 Use two identical toys. If your dog prefers one, switching back can become much harder. ⏱️ Build the behaviour before expecting the word to work. Get those switches reliable first, then add “drop” just before presenting the other toy. 🐾 Don’t worry if they take a little while to work it out. That’s learning, not failure. And remember: letting go doesn’t end the fun. It makes the game continue. I’m using two identical Tug-E-Nuff toys here. The sheepskin is brilliant for engagement, and that long handle keeps your hands away from the bitey end 😅 👉 Tug-E-Nuff link in bio for 10% off 💾 Save this for your next training session. #DogTraining #PuppyTraining #DropIt #DogTrainingTips #ForceFreeDogTraining
