This video…this has been me since last Thursday! Our youngest and definitely last baby just started pre-k and my brain just cannot accept it. I cry ALL DAY. I’ve cried through the school hallways. I’ve cried in the coffee line. I’m right there with ya sister!!!

Omg I feel you. I’m so emotional. I have two daughters (25 & 21). My oldest is getting married and I’m struggling. I’m so so happy for her but am so afraid that she’s not going to need me anymore 😢 we have such a great relationship and bond and I don’t want that to change. I want to go back to when they were little.

I’ve been going through the same emotions with a 7th grader and 3rd grader. I grieve their little-bitty versions and beat myself up for not realizing how precious those days were while I was in them. But nostalgia does something dirty to us…it preserves all the warm pieces and softens the overwhelming days, the stress, loneliness, long days and overstimulation we may have been dealing with too. I try to remind myself that even right now, I’m living moments I’ll someday miss, so I’m trying to slow down and really enjoy them. ❤️
