@imamasimkhan: Don’t Let Being Wronged Stop You Forgiving someone who wronged you is not easy. Especially when you were the one hurt. Especially when you were the one treated unfairly. Especially when you did not deserve what happened. But if you go out of your way to forgive, reconcile, and fix the matter for the sake of Allah — that is not weakness. That is worship. Sometimes the reward is not in proving your point. Sometimes the reward is in choosing Allah over your ego. You may be the one who was wronged, but if you still try to bring peace, expect something massive from Allah. Forgiveness is difficult, but the reward with Allah is greater. May Allah give us hearts that forgive for His sake. Ameen.
