@itsbreellis: Not going to lie, the last few weeks the garden has been KICKING my butt e. We have had a few week stretch of over 100°f/38°c and just keeping things watered and happy was a challenge. Over the last 3 days I've probably found 40+ hornworms. Normally I have a big wave of tomatoes come in before hornworms become a big issue for me but this year the weather delayed the season. I had so many issues earlier in the season because of the rainy weather and now into the later parts of it for set backs early on. Overall still decent season but by far one of my more challenging. I knew year 9 gardening was going to bring a whole new set of challenges and things to learn being in a new space! It's at that point this season that it's getting late and it is what it is. Im making notes on the things that worked well and what didn't. The chickens sure have been happy! 🐛🐓#hornworm #gardening

Please be good to them and put them in and feed them the tomato trimmings. They turn in to hawk moths and they are very important nighttime pollinators.

You could bring the chickens to the tomato plant and let them eat the horn warms

I don't know if it's helpful or not but the one time that we had to deal with about of the hornworms I use chopsticks to pick them off that way they wouldn't stick to my fingers I didn't have gloves at the time😖😓
