I actually did give the free trial a go because you recommended it. I haven’t used a vpn before and don’t really know 1) how it works (beginner level), 2) what it works with, 3) why it prevents me doing certain things unless I disconnect from the options I’ve selected. Is there scope for a little run down? A small upskilling video? Or a place to learn that is clear and presents the information in the same breakdown type of way that you do with the news? You make complex things so easy to understand.

I'm more worried about when websites stuff up and you have to clear cookies how am I supposed to erase a fingerprint like that when there's some sort of issue going on and I can't troubleshoot??

As another comment implied, the only widely available way of avoiding browser fingerprinting at the moment is the Tor Browser version of Firefox. https://www.torproject.org/download/

Can you tell the current bucket of turds that call themselves a government to stop with the fucking cookies acknowledgement please. Every url you open you have to fuck around with the government's cookie policy. If people in this day and age have a problem with cookies then they can just go live in a cave.
