Think first. I know he pat the head of the kid without consent. However, throwing a trembling 73 years old 😭😭😭 the uncle was down, need help to get up 😭😭 if you want to report, go to the police station. Let police solve the misunderstanding🥺 assaulting people is wrong, unless the uncle came and kiss the kid. He might be reaching unconsciously as he was holding the table with his left hand, he might be reaching for support and touched the kid’s head. Or just a gesture from grandfather to a kid. What used to be a way of showing affection to children, such as head patting a child is no longer an acceptable social norm outside a family context. In light of heightened awareness of child abuse and stranger danger, it is understandable that kind gestures can be misunderstood and not acceptable to some parents. These days, permission needs to be sought for any form of touching, including head patting and hugging. However, patience and understanding towards the elderly also need to be exercised as they live in a different era of innocence and affectionate gestures. Would be more appropriate for the young parents to talk to the uncle about how they feel rather than be angry and physically aggressive towards the uncle. That is my take on this matter.
