I have some sicknesses and my dogs come 2 my face I must open my mouth and they smell me if I'm ok they happy I can go if not they staying if real bad they call on family members. they truly are our guardians! and best friends and FAMILY❤️

As a matter of interest, my dog always slept in his own bed downstairs, then after my wife passed 3 x years ago, he decided to sleep with me & has been doing ever since & I’m so glad that he made that decision 🥰

My GSD Mishka rarely sleeps on my bed. She sleeps in the lounge but will always come onto my bed around 5am.

Lost my 2 earlier this year - 16 & 15. Both withdrew from sleeping up close on the bed for their last 2 years. Either at the end of the bed or would get off & go downstairs to their own bed. Miss that closeness.

My 9 month old blue heeler sleeps in the lounge room, I can’t even call her in, at the crack of dawn though, I get jumped on, usually straight in the guts, then she curls up and falls asleep
