Translation: if Manus has been doing research, building documents, creating assets, organizing projects, or helping you run your business… DO NOT just close the notification and say, “I’ll do it later.” 😂 Here’s what you need to do: STEP 1: Open Manus and look for the “Back up your data” notification. STEP 2: Tap “Back up now.” STEP 3: Make sure you’re saving the important stuff: ✅ Task data ✅ Generated outputs ✅ Projects/work you need ✅ Important account information STEP 4: Complete your backup before August 23, 2026 at 7:59 AM SGT. STEP 5: Keep your backup somewhere you can actually find it. Not buried in a Downloads folder with 6,482 screenshots named IMG_4837. 😭😂 STEP 6: After the transition, follow Manus’ restoration process if you want to bring your backed-up information back into your account. According to the notice, affected data may be deleted during the transition period, while restoration will remain available until November 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM SGT. Also worth noticing: Manus says active subscriptions on affected accounts have been canceled as part of this transition, while other account information and personal settings should remain preserved. So no panic… but definitely DO NOT IGNORE THIS.
