@guruofdigital: To the Black diaspora, especially FBA: Haiti matters to all of us. Haiti represents Black resistance, freedom, and the determination of a people who refused to accept slavery as their destiny. Supporting Haiti means supporting Haitian people, Haitian businesses, Haitian culture, and a nation whose history changed the Black world forever. Our stories are connected, even when our experiences are different. Haiti deserves more than sympathy—it deserves respect, investment, solidarity, and a real understanding of its importance to Black history. We don’t have to be Haitian to recognize what Haiti means. #HaitianTikTok #HaitianAmerican #BlackDiaspora #FBA #Haiti

It's jealousy, because when they were still in the field, we're helping other countries like Venezuela get their freedom.

Well said, Black history is Haitian history. Please mention that Haiti opened its doors to American slaves seeking freedom through migration.

@jacquelinesession❌: @jacquelinesession❌: You, Haitians are the absolute worst. Why would we be jealous of you? Please do tell my family were enslaved, but they got out of slavery and they started a town that still exist to this very day. My mother may have struggled, but all her children are successful. we don’t live like the poverty stricken folk in Haiti not one of us descendants of slaves are begging to go and live in Haiti. You all have such a great land then why are you begging to stay in the United States? Why is your land so destroyed? If you all have helped so many other people it seems to me you can’t help your own selves right now the greed and the corruption have destroyed your land and yet you try to come here and present to be so much as if we need your approval. We do not care about the Haitian plight. Sorry—not. Every other race of Black people that come to this country all try to have a hole on the American descendants of slaves. As if we owe you something. You all are mad because we want to be American and not what you are. We don’t wanna be Haitian we don’t wanna be Jamaican and we don’t wanna be African. You all wanna be what we are and that is American and so because of those things you try to criticize us to say Haiti did so much—well guess what? we can’t tell you all come here and live off of our tax dollars the middle class tax dollars American blacks make up a large majority of that tax base sorry but we built this country, in chains and we too fought a war a won. Now we work hard, we own our homes and businesses, drive cars, and raise our own children. We have issues for sure but to be clear even the poorest from amoung our communities live better then the best in your community. Let’s be real, bro.

So true, if Haiti had done the same thing other countries are doing right now, charge everyone so they can get help. I’m pretty sure Haiti would have been far better now. But when you care too much this happens

It's ok my brother. I think all Haitians need a collective hug. Mobilize and centralized as one. I know it doesn't look like it. But everything is going to be all right in our lifetime

It’s heartbreaking how the people who give the most often seem to suffer the most. The ones willing to take the shirt off their own backs to help others gain their freedom and independence are sometimes the ones left standing alone when they need help.
That’s how I feel about Haiti. 🇭🇹 Haiti stood up and helped others in their fight for freedom, but today, when Haiti is suffering and needs support, it feels like so many have turned their backs.
How can a country that gave so much to the cause of freedom be forgotten in its darkest moments? It’s painful. It’s unfair. And it’s truly sad.
Haiti deserves peace. Haiti deserves stability. Haiti deserves the same compassion it has shown others. 🇭🇹❤️

Yet you are here, not giving black Americans the credit that we deserve and stop with a bullying narrative. It’s old. I’m glad that you’re proud of your Haitian foundation. Let us be proud to be black Americans.💯
