Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and set aside. 2. In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy, about 5 minutes. 3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla and mix to combine. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and cocoa powder to ensure there aren’t any clumps. 5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts. 6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until set in the center.
