Apparently I can’t stop commenting on your posts today. Lol. I do all of these things but didn’t know others aren’t doing them until you said they are frugal. I have an entire cabinet full of jars that I reuse. Btw glass with a paper towel in it keeps fruits and veggies much longer that the plastic container it comes in.

I freeze all leftover, meats, bread, cookies donuts. And cook beans to freeze for those last minute meals. I buy Costco rotisserie chickens like 5 n debone n freeze in smaller portions for easy meals.

I shop at the supermarket early morning because that’s when they put food on clearance. Sometimes I have to go more than one day but I save so much money.

My wife takes her lunch to work every day, we save jars too. We cook double batches and freeze in meal quantities to eat later. I drive a 13 year old car. I inherited a fair amount of yarn from a friend who died suddenly leaving a huge stash of quality wool yarn; I’m knitting some holiday gifts from the “free” yarn. Another friend who had the responsibility of taking care of that large stash gives me gifts from that same “free” stash. Cardboard trash makes great dog toys. I grow herbs and peppers. My daughter and I used to have Naked Lady parties when we lived in the same town. My neighbor and I have a cup of sugar relationship.

I dont replace my dishes unless I have too. im still using dishes I moved out with 30 years ago.😁 bath towels I dont replace them unless I have too as well. I have only bought bath towels a few times in my adult life.

Freeze bags of veggie scraps and bones to make veggie and bone broth. After I can the broth I put the scraps in a compost pile in the backyard

I thought of another money saving idea. If you buy plants for your garden/yard, buy perennials instead of annuals. they bloom every year and you only pay for them once

I can’t get behind the spaghetti jar though. The lid absorbs the spaghetti flavor and I have to toss. But I can get behind the rest. If my daughter doesn’t finish her chips in her lunch but they’re a little crushed up, those are my chips in my lunch tomorrow.

I recently got the side eye because I said I don’t buy pajamas. I just wear worn out t-shirts and pants/shorts 🤷♀️I also don’t buy food containers. I reuse plastic tubs like my grandma did lol

Only buy meat when I can find it on sale…then buy in bulk. When grocery shopping…shop my fridge, freezer and pantry first.
