I thought we always knew it was Taylor who was the instigator because she always cried and cried about how she hated herself and couldn’t forgive herself for betraying Tate. She would cry to Dakota about how badly she messed up her life. It was very obvious! Not sure when the story was rewritten but Tate sure does remember the truth.

In season 1 didn’t TFP tell us that Tate had like talked her into it. Or something like that? I remember her implying that she did it to make him happy, yet he still kept his mouth shut all this time. As she continued to downplay what she did to him & then flip it on him & blame him for it.

It’s odd to me that people don’t realize there are two truths. 1) the couples engaged in swinging with agreed upon boundaries (this is the bit where it isn’t cheating because it was agreed upon). 2) those boundaries were violated by Taylor and at least one other person (this is cheating because it wasn’t something the other parties agreed to). Example…if they all agreed to kissing only but then some people take it further than just kissing, the people taking it further are cheating because the violated the agreement/boundary.
