we were driving home from Disney, stoped in Georgia at a walmart. we got accused of stealing bubble wands because I was buying a multi pack and only scanned it once.. it was a multipi pack of 5 or 6 all wrapped together 🤦🏼♀️

I personally had a bad incident and a Walmart in Ohio. Just a couple of months ago I was in the middle of ringing up my order. And had a lady come over and accuse me of not scanning a salad dressing. I pulled everything out of my bags in double checked and found out that I indeed scanned the salad dressing. But I had 2 bottles of the same and did not scan them at the same time. I was very upset and embarrassed. I left the store, cried in my car and then went back a couple days later and talk to a manager. And they told me that they had had problems with that employee and they were never to take anything out of your bags. After you had bagged it. So yes, there is a problem with Walmart and their self checkout.

TECHNICALLY you did steal, HOWEVER isn't it funny that if you were incorrectly charged $5 for that $1 item & you didn't catch it, then nothing would've happened. But if YOU make a mistake you're looking at a potential arrest 🙃 They could easily get rid of self-checkout, so it must be cheaper for them to hire security as opposed to more cashiers. Make no mistake though, the only reason they didn't call the cops is because it was a $1 item & they don't have history of you stealing. They know your info & now they'll be watching next time you're in there hoping to catch you "stealing" more things until they eventually call the cops.

walmart is the worst 😂😂😂😂 like I have been stopped and had my receipt checked i said lady i am wearing a louis Vuitton bag?? if I wanted to steal i would make it worth it and it wouldn't be stolen items from Walmart!!! these people have their heads so far up their asses 😂

The Walmart I used to work at in Windsor literally tackled a 75 yr old man to the ground over .78cent pistachios that accidentally fell in the bottom of his cart and he didn’t see them. Like .78cents you never even talked to him about it theu literally jumped him to the ground like he was stealing a tv it was so sad !
