@njapoet: San Francisco banned plastic straws, so now we sip through paper straws while holding plastic cups, eating from plastic to-go boxes, and standing next to trash cans overflowing with single-use plastic containers -- and by the way with a paper straw, you better drink fast because the straw is not gonna last as long as your iced latte. For the record, I appreciate environmental policies. But I think some policies are much more symbolic than anything else.
