@thecaseroom.daily: Kara Robinson was only 15 years old when she was kidnapped in broad daylight from a friend’s front yard and forced into a terrifying situation no teenager should ever have to experience. What makes her story so incredible is how, even while she was terrified, Kara paid attention to everything around her — the route they took, details inside the home, things her kidnapper said, and anything she thought could help police later. This scene from The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story, starring Katie Douglas, shows the moment Kara realizes she may finally have a chance to get away. Her ability to stay focused, escape, and remember crucial details would become a huge part of the investigation that followed. Knowing this movie is based on Kara Robinson’s real story makes it so much harder to watch. Her strength, awareness, and survival instincts at only 15 years old are absolutely incredible. 😳 🎬 The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story Based on the true story of Kara Robinson. #movie #truecrime #survivor #fyp
