Mind you this goes for benzoyl peroxide on any skincare brand because of the newest scientific finding that under extreme heat’s benzoyl breaks down into benzene. It’s very low risk but obviously that needs to be disclosed to the public so they can choose whether or not to take that risk to treat the acne bacteria

benzoyl peroxide products shouldn’t be made available OTC because unfortunately all it takes to turn into benzene is for it to be exposed to heat, which can happen with something as simple as transferring from warehouse to stores or shipping
