As a teenager I slept in that cave with a youth group. My dumbass and a friend of mine almost did a ouija board session down there but got stopped.

I've taken several tours at Mammoth Cave. I've always heard voices in the church. I've asked my guide about them and they always tell me it's ambient noise with a weird look on their faces.

I've been to Mammoth Cave area, unfortunately the caves were closed when I was there so we didn't get to see them.

I went as a young teen. It’s one of my best memories. It was so fascinating. I do recall them turning off the lights so we could see how dark it was. They told a story about a man getting lost in the caves. He was found a few days later with completely white hair. 😳

I went here as a kid! I remember I felt an uneasy calm(?) There was a segment where they turned off all lights and showed us the full "dark and quiet." It felt unnaturally cold, calm, and heavy from that point on and I still tell myself it was 'normal' because, well, cave. I don't remember hearing anything about the TB ward... (again, child) but I think a few things may have just *clicked* 😳

I’ve gone on a tour there as a kid and the lights shut off on us in one section and it scared my friend really badly

I grew up around that area actually, and have been to the caves a couple times. definitely something going on there. I remember hearing voices at points, and the air feeling really heavy and hard to breathe, I never SAW anything, but it definitely felt off.

That’s the biggest cave system around. There are so many steps and stuff in there. You don’t have to crawl around like some caves. There are pathways. The woman wearing a dress just wanted to wear a dress that day 🤷🏻♀️that would be like asking someone why they are wearing a dress outside.
