En mi casa mexicana primero se sirve a los ninos luego esposo y al ultimo yo mi espos se espera a que yo me siente antes de empezar a comer. Eso es fines de semana solamente. Entre semana los niños comen primero llegan primero mi esposo al ultimo yo como con los niños.

Thankfully, my husband has hands, feet, and a brain to use. 😁 He serves himself, I serve myself, and I served my daughter until she was old enough to do it on her own. We both cook, too, so it’s not like serving each other is a one sided responsibility. When we visit his parents or mine, we do the same thing, we each take care of ourselves. Every household is different, and that’s okay. What works for one family may not work for another, and there’s nothing wrong with that. 😊
