wrong test. air test is a 10 minute test thru a cartridge that captures the air thru a pump. then it's sent to lab. putting a petri dish will always show mold since spores are floating around anyway. don't buy this junk

Mold technician here of 22 years, you will always have fungi grow in those petri dishes, and the reason being it’s like putting food out for birds, they’re gonna eat it and you will have fungi growth, mold is airborne and then settles on organic matter to eat and colonize, you’re better off having a cassette spore trap test and a tape lift,

That will 100% not test, confirm or deny mold! That is just an agar plate which is simply basic nutrition for BACTERIA and OTHER microbial organisms. Mold 100% has been sampled through air quality machines, tape samples, or swab tests and sent to a lab.
