I hate how these ppl just don’t break it down in the most simplest way.. but anyways guys for me I do 1 minus .40 which will get me 0.6 (when reducing it’s always 1 minus whatever that percentage or when it’s adding tax/increase it will be 1 plus that percentage) then divide 270 and you’ll get an answer of 450 that’s it. No need for 8 minute explanation it’s ridiculous and time consuming.

Can’t you just multiply 270 and 40% and then add that to the 270? I got the same answer
