I use an app called LaLinea and for the most part it’s pretty accurate when it comes to the wait times. I also have Sentri so that helps. Did two trips using regular line and yup I didn’t return until I got Sentri. Well worth the money.

Its the new biometrics system they have i crossed at 7am yesterday and gor in line at 4:30 am . They have to take a picture of every person in car now.

If you go often and have a squeaky clean background, and can pass an oral interview, get a SENTRI pass. It takes about 3 months to get. Fingerprinted, background check, pass an oral interview. It only takes an average of 15 minutes to cross. And like 45 minutes on crowded holidays. With the SENTRI pass you can use the faster TSA pre screen lines at airports as well

Just did 5 hours at San Ysidro yesterday (Sunday 8/16) started around 6:45 am crossed 11:45 still got sent to secondary. These lines are ridiculous not doing that again for a long time lll
