I went to a get together once & there were these mystery cookies there that turned out to be peanut butter cookies WITHOUT the crosshatching! We were all scandalized. Who would do such a thing?! 😱

1) it would have been hilarious to have this video without a voiceover 2) thank you for sharing about not being able to fit certain things into your budget. My only experience with cranberry beans was at a children’s farm Bean Pit and it was pretty fantastic. I would like to try eating them one day too!

I don't care what anyone says, vegetable shortening has a place in the kitchen. It does things that butter and oil can't do.

Have you tried Brami pasta? Tastes literally indistinguishable from regular pasta and it’s got a solid amount of fiber to boot. Two ingredients - semolina and lupini beans. Unfortunately runs about $3-4 a box - I get it at Costco to save (it’s about $11 for a four pack there).

We cannot get rancho gordo beans in Australia because of our biosafety laws. I understand, and it wouldn’t be particularly sustainable to buy them even if I could. But I will forever be filthy with jealous about Rancho Gordo beans they look so good and we have nothing like them. I sent them a very sad email once asking if they could even just sell me some of their bean earrings and they couldn’t 😭
