My baby is 4 weeks old. I have a load of laundry to fold and wanted to do some self care but he was screaming crying until I put him on me and now I’m on the couch with him fast asleep on my chest so I guess I’ll just stay here a while

For all the mommas currently struggling…it gets better. It will never be easy but it gets more manageable. And then you stop worrying so much about your sleep and other things when you notice your baby has suddenly doubled in size. So yes…enjoy these moments. The good ones and the not so good ones 💔♥️

Just had my third baby and I wish I had been more in this mindset. I don’t ever wanna put my baby down now, it goes so fast. My first will be 7 in a few weeks and it makes me unwell that I didn’t cherish more of her newborn stage because I was in the trenches.

I hold my first born with so much regret because I was just a first time mom that didn’t know anything. He cried so much in the middle of the night and would be awake and I would fall asleep of how tired I was. Now with my second I have all the patience and experience he sleeps throughout the night because I finally know how to do it and the guilt eats me alive 😭 if I could have my first born experience again I would it 😭
