Throughout P3, we watch PARTY trying to move on from his Ex while still being very much in love with her. He masks songs like “Not Nice” and “Only U” as high-energy, dance songs while in reality he’s suffering and reliving where everything went wrong. Exactly 10-years later, PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 is still around because it’s a realistic representation of what it looks like to struggle to move on. One moment PARTY is unapologetically bitter, the next he’s claiming to be over it, and the next he’s back at her doorstep with her again.
