I quit, and honestly, my mental health immediately said, “Thank you.” Then my bank account said, “Excuse me?” Nobody talks about what comes next. The financial fear, the uncertainty, the identity crisis… Figuring out how to be when you’re already exhausted. Quitting saved me, and rebuilding (although hard) is rewarding.

In my head i checked out of my job a few yrs ago, physically im still working 50hrs per week, so exhausted, so sick of mental bullying, so sick of being unappreciated, so sick of back stabbing from work colleagues and lets not talk about favouritism!! But, im 62, single, so one income, i rent privately, i have no idea what help id get financially if i walked out of my job, there is no solid advice out there for us in what we can or cant do

I left my job at 58, divorced having to sell my family home due to divorce and soon going away for as long as I can in Asia to travel. I can't really afford it but if I don't go I will shrivel up more than I have already and I want to breathe again and feel the wind in my very short hair and be free.
