I think it’s so funny, they go back and forth between “fluid gel is too hard, try the semi solid!” And “semi solid isn’t beginner friendly, try fluid!” Marketing just depends on what they need to sell and I guess new “trends” sell.

I thought we were angry at people using nail products for art because it makes a mockery of the nail industry? And instead of chronically calling absolutely everything out can you switch it up and show the right thing to do in all these scenarios cause I look for things and not many people care to show the right way to do things they just make videos dogging on everyone and everything for doing everything wrong and never show what’s right so it is very very not helpful

like i ALWAYS say!! there ARE safe ways to do all these amazing things- just not with GEL! its just way harder to do!! anyone who thinks "having a problem with 3d flowers" is just some kind of fear mongering is missing the whole entire point! the lazy people who are doing it with gel is the problem not the flowers themselves! and theres no point trying to "educate" people on how to do it safely when they are missing the whole entire point of the assignment to even begin with! ❤️

I would love to hear how you would help with someone with HEDS (connective tissues disease) on how to get gel x to stay on nails, along with polish. its very common for people (me included) to have nails stay on and polish evrything from normal polish to the type you cure under uv light. I love having my nails done but I have tan lines on my poor fingers for how often I have to redo as the polish will come off in once peice. I also do all the prep.
