@bookswithbecki: I can’t stop talking about this lesbian detective series set in Liverpool!!!!! You may have noticed I’ve been sharing my honest reviews; welcome to part 14. 🙌 It’s no secret that I ADORE T.M. Payne as both a person and an author. She’s seriously got me hooked on Sheridan’s life, work and cases. I adore reading books set in my home city so much. Am I also obsessed with fictional cat Maud? Maybe. I’m sure you will be too, when you pick up this series 🐈‍⬛ So, One Bad Deed, is it worth reading? Abso-fkn-lutely 🫡 Payne manages to weave complex themes such as domestic abuse and murder through this book whilst balancing the light-hearted banter, loyal and truly incredible friendships, and character growth. With super short chapters, fab pacing and honestly gripping plot lines, I just couldn’t put this book down. I’m now 5 books into this series and I’m not anywhere near series fatigue; in fact, I’m begging for these releases to come sooner as I just want to spend more time with Sheridan & Co!!!
