My handprint from when I was one is right alongside my childhood dog’s paw print on the sidewalk at our first house. The neighbors never paved over it, and somehow, it’s still there 25 years later 🥹

As a concrete finisher, this is the best execution of a dog walking through wet concrete I’ve ever seen. They always panic in my experience. This dog understood the assignment 😂 I love this so much

the sidewalk in front of my house has 2 cat paw prints and its my favorite thing. that one was definitely a mistake they kept but its my favorite mistake.

I like in a mission town (like a historical very old church/compound made by Spaniards) in the original Terra cotta floor tiles you can see tiny cat paw prints in some. the walls can see where some of the paint is smudged by animals brushing against it while it was drying. over 150 yrs old btw

To all the people worried about resale. Live in your house for you. Make it ours for you. Yes resale is a good thing to be thinking about but if you are constantly thinking about the next person living there and not yourself, then is it really a home?
