It is easier to eat one less cookie than to eat none at all, it is easier to make a meal a little smaller by reducing carbs / sugar than to completely scratch that meal. How does that not make sense? The feeling of hunger is not the worst part, at least not for everyone.

They don’t understand how much bigger we are. Not only are we bigger but do build and maintain muscle we need to eat like crazy. And honestly it’s only partly the calories if they were way more active their calorie deficit would be different

There is still more wiggle room. If i want a cookie it would be like 250 cal. If i only get a 1000 cal cut that cookie is 1/4 of my “budget” and i can barely fit any other meal into my meal plan. Where someones cut is 2500 that cookie is only 1/10 of their budget and they can easily eat a sandwich or a steak for dinner without issue.
