Most halloumi is best if rinsed first and dried. It’s delicious on a citrus dressed arugula salad with beets & grapefruit. I sometimes use it for protein in Japanese style curry.

Nooo you have to soak it in a bowl of boiling water for 5 mins first, then dry, THEN fry! I’m in Hampshire, in England, try it next time xx (drizzle honey over too its 🧑🍳 💋)

I didn't realise America wasn't really familiar with halloumi. It's one of the go to vegetarian options in Australia, great on a breakfast burger.

We do halloumi cook it and then add hot honey to it. Add that to a naan bread. Some chicken and whatever other veggies you want on there and fold it over. It is absolutely delish!🇨🇦
