I got a little question. When I was little I realized my enclosure for hamster is awful (it was even smaller than ones on the video) and I made him better setup of plastic box for about 40cm x 20cm with much more space, more bedding and bigger wheel. He died after a week being there... What could possibly be a problem? Stress?

I don't know but this could be something I just thought of it taking all of the metal pieces that you get from the cages like the bad cages that come in with the animals sometimes and saving all the metal pieces and taking them to scrap yard and getting money and using that money towards funding your rescue just a thought I don't know if that could work but it might
