One time I was visiting Savannah, Georgia with my partner. We were out walking late during the week. Most places were closed, but in the distance, we saw a bar with lights on. We kept walking but it felt like it was moving away from us. We finally did get closer, even though we were still a block or so away. We saw shadows through windows of people dancing. We started talking and looking at each other while we were walking and laughing at ourselves. When we looked back towards the bar, we realized it was right in front of us, but it was a closed abandoned building. We were both so freaked out that we just acted like we weren’t even trying to get to that place. We turned around and started talking loudly and saying things like “We got our steps in. Time to get back because everyone will be waiting for us” As soon as we got back to where things were lit up, we went into the first place we came to and told the people what happened. My partner made a point to tell them we had not actually gone in and the guy behind the counter said obviously, or you never would have made it back out. 😳 It’s been over 10 years ago and I still think about that.

As someone from Montana none of this is odd. Random turkey flocks are so common too 🤣 Sounds like a lot of small bars in Montana.

montanan here...turkeys everywhere is a normal thing. especially wild turkeys. burben is also more popular here then people not from here think. and of course it's gonna be dead at 6 pm. would have probably had a few more people by 8. the bar is probably out by farm land. we have tons of random rural bars all along our highways that you don't notice unless your looking for it specifically. and in some mountains. it's weird. we are also 4th place nationally for "drinking" and 2nd for drunk driving fatalities. so yes, we have bars in the most random places .

I lived in MT for 15 years and there’s a lot of strange stuff happening up there. Portals being one of them.

#1 As a longtime wife of a Montana guy that grew up in N Idaho myself, Montana people that have been born and raised there are just different. They have a more laid back way about things. When the dude was talking about, “You just missed it” he could have been talking even up to a month ago but it all jumbled together in his brain. #2, the PBR is rude. They drink enough to keep either coors mountains cold or the bush Clydesdales filled with hay and grain all year long. #3, you can go driving around and stop at any of the bars they have on every street and street corner and middle of the street and well there is enough bars for everyone to go to a new bar each night and never even begin to get to all of them and they are all going to most likely have huckleberry brandy or huckleberry whiskey or huckleberry anything. Doesn’t mean they are a weirdo bar. Okay I’ll get off the bullhorn of defense now.

Depending on where in Montana they were would depend on if things settled down early or not. Some places will close early in small towns and out of the way areas. As for the turkeys they were in the mountains and there are turkeys everywhere here in Montana especially in the wooded areas. Also if the bar was in the middle of nowhere there is a chance that not many go to it and it would have a lot of old furniture and other items. We have alot of weird things that go on in Montana but idk if this is anything at all. We do have a vortex here and a lot of reports of Bigfoot around it.

Long time follower, I absolutely love your content! Just curious, what gave the couple vampire vibes about the old bar? The whole thing definitely seemed odd..
